Wedding Cakes

Perfect for a summer wedding! I loved how simple this cake was, but was surprised to find that "simple" is much harder to do than something with more designs on it!

These next cakes I made for sisters that had a double wedding. It was such a neat experience! We decided to have their cake designs match, but they were able to choose their own styles and colors. I wish I had a picture of the cakes together - it was pretty impressive!

I was so excited to do this cake! It's so different from most other's that I've done. And I love FOUR tiers...it definitely gave the cake more presence! The flowers are fondant, and the bow and ribbon are silk.

A close up of the 12" tier. I think this cake would be beautiful in any color matching the bridesmaids dresses. Guess what color the dresses were for this wedding?! :-)

I thought the contrast of the champagne and white was so pretty. This was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

The monogram and snowflakes are made from royal icing. The topper is fondant.

I barely ever get to do roses on wedding cakes anymore!

This is one of my favorite cakes. I used edible pearls. The bows are fondant. The lilies are not edible - they are silk.

The colors and design of this cake matched the bride's dress.

This cake was picked up from my house, so I never got a picture of it assembled!! I wish I had...I thought it was so pretty...
